Sales season is underway…

July 30th, 2014

It’s been a busy few weeks at FMA as we started the SS15 selling season, highlighted by the presentation of our collections, both at the Scoop Trade show in London and the Elena Miotto showroom in Milan. The season kicked off with preparations for the Scoop Trade show which was held at the beautiful Philips Gallery which is synonymous with contemporary culture. We were delighted to have our brands, Luca Michele, Neue London and Les Ateliers De La Maille showcase for the first time. Next our Sales Manager  Natasha, jetted off to Milan to present to international buyers with Luca Michele, Oscar London and Royal Spades in tow at the beautiful Elena Miotto showroom. With so much going on, it’s been an eventful time here at FMA, and we are eager to see what the rest of the sales season will bring!

Marilyn Monroe Footwear Line Launches

April 9th, 2013

“Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.”

This September sees the launch of a footwear line inspired by Hollywood beauty Marilyn Monroe. Its reported Authentic Brand Group, which owns the rights to Marilyn Monroe’s estate, recently signed a deal with Will Rich Shoes Co., LLC to create a footwear line in her honour. The collection will retail from $39 to $79 (£26 to £52), and span a variety of different styles – including flats, heels and boots. While the designs have yet to be revealed, it’s believed that they will honour the screen siren’s signature style of the Fifties and Sixties, but with a contemporary edge.

London Fashion Week 2012 – Puppy Power

September 20th, 2012

London Fashion Week 2012 and the fashion powers that be have deemed the key accessory for SS13 a canine companion and even better if you can co-ordinate outfits, nod to Mulberry, loved that pooch!

After the cooing at the canine had stopped at the Ashley Isham SS13 show, attention turned to the collection.  A 1960’s vibe echoed through some silhouettes but the main focus was on the colour and attractive floral prints.  Bold, vibrant jewel tones and muted pastels on “it” girl styled models made for a glamorous show.

In the breathtaking Goldsmiths Hall, Singapore born Ashley Isham showed a signature collection that did not disappoint. Nice work sir.
